What is a flash tattoo design?

Flash is a pre-drawn tattoo design that’s ready to go, you’ll see the artwork before booking, making the process simple and stress-free. Just pick your favorite!

Flash designs are usually set to a specific size and style. Small adjustments can sometimes be made, and many designs are repetable. Join a community of likeminded people connected through art that resonates.

What is a custom tattoo design?

A custom tattoo design is a unique piece created specifically for you, based on your ideas, meanings, or inspirations. It’s a collaborative process between you and me -your vision paired with my artistic style and experience.

Designs are revealed on the day of your appointment, with room for small adjustments if needed.

To ensure the best outcome, I ask for a level of creative freedom so I can craft something that truly fits both your concept and my artistic approach.

Can I cover an old existing tattoo?

This is case by case as it depends on the size/ darkness and placement of the old tattoo + what you’d like to cover it with.

Fineline tattoo style uses a lot of soft shading and negative space so can be tricky to cover old designs.

It’s best to complete a booking form and upload a photo of your existing tattoo so we can discuss your options.

Can you cover scars/marks?

Tattooing over scars can be done, although it is best to wait for the area to be fully healed (at least 1 year). The scar tissue can take the ink differently to surrounding skin so its best to go gently and touch up if needed.

Other marks/ freckles and stretch marks are fine to cover but it is advised to avoid moles and varicose veins.

What aftercare do you recommend?

All tattoo aftercare can be found here

Your tattoo is a living piece of artwork, aftercare is a vital step to ensure your tattoo stays looking good.

Do you offer tattoo tokens / commissions?

I don’t offer tattoo tokens or commission artwork to be tattooed by another artist.

My work is deeply rooted in both the design and the experience - intention, connection are part of the overall process.

For that reason, I only create art intended to be tattooed by me.

Artwork Questions

I open my online shop few times a year for a limited window.

Each update features a curated selection of artwork, many pieces are exclusive and available in limited quantities. Once they sell out, they won’t be restocked.

This allows me time between each update to create new, original designs.

Alternatively I do have some digital products / prints available that you can download.

How do you make your prints?

Most prints are digital renderings of painted artworks.

Due to the soft light nature of my shading the scans of artworks usually need to be re-rendered digitally to bring the same soft tones back into the print version.

Are all prints available as digital downloads?

No, only a limited selection of my prints are available as digital downloads. The designs I offer as digital prints (while I love them) are more general in theme.

Sharing high quality digital files on the internet is daunting as an artist as it’s all too common to see independent artist have their work shared without consent.

My painted artworks are more personal pieces and only available as physical prints to protect their integrity.

Each print is thoughtfully created and carefully packaged by me.
